We are seeking a senior therapist with the passion and ability to manage in the absence of the manager and assist in coaching, to give the team amazing consultation and customer service skills. We have an incredible Business Manager who splits her time between two clinics. The Assistant Manager role is pivotal role within the Hornby clinic, you will have the benefit of the BM’s support and guidance, with enough autonomy to be able to make the role your own – we’ve got a great team!

Some key duties include:

• Providing outstanding service to customers, through expert consultation and treatment services
• Driving revenue by understanding the needs of new and existing customers and identify sales opportunities 
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including, managing and coaching staff, daily checks on equipment and consumables 
• Provide skin and laser treatments that are within the Assistant Clinic Managers skill level, competence, and training 
• Spending time at the front of house to ensure the clinic is running smoothly and clients are being well looked after

This is a full time (guaranteeing 30 hours per week) and permanent position, based at our Hornby (Christchurch) clinic. Salary range is $28-$32 per hour, based on experience.

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified to Diploma standard in Beauty Therapy
• Ideally experienced in advanced Dermal therapies
• Ideally experienced in Laser or IPL technologies
• A proven track record in delivering an amazing customer experience
• Passionate about delivering results
• Sales experience

To be an integral member of our high calibre team, you must have the ability to listen to your client understand their needs and prescribe then deliver the appropriate treatments! This includes consultation skills and a sound understanding of skin science.
